  This is a very weird film. At its core this is a reflection on the impact of the 2011 Tohoku Earthquake & Tsunami (produced as part of the 10 year commemoration) but it can't decide if it wants to take the disaster seriously or treat it as a backdrop for a coming of age fantastical adventure.

  I found this to be better than the reviews were making out to be. It's rough around the edges and has a weird narration over the first 10-15 minutes as it attempts to explain the background and just what in the world is going on, however when it gets into the thick of things it turns into a fairly standard, if predictable action movie.   A bizarre and off-the-wall tale of a group of delinquents forming a really bad sounding rock band that both myself and their audience couldn't get enough of. Fabulously presented with a lot of love and callbacks for the rock music of the 60s and 70s.
