  Don’t be surprised when Kyle Edward Ball makes the next Mandy.

  I feel discombobulated, uncomfortable, and hypnotized in a way few films have ever made me feel.

  Like so many great horror movies, it uses negative space really well. Its ever-swirling film grain entrances you and pulls you into its shadows.

  It reminded me of so many nights when I was a kid and stayed up until the wee hours of the morning watching TV, when sleep deprivation blurs the line between dreams and reality.
