  Barbara and Ian totally had sex in that briefcase and I have never laughed harder than hearing them, after coming out, saying things like, "oh I've got a bruise on my knee", "things were flinging about in there" and "that was worse than the big dipper".

  This just doesn't work.

  The colourised aesthetic is hardly the problem, though its not perfect. Some sets and people look a bit odd but the Daleks themselves look really good. Neither is the fact that this clearly uses some special addition updated footage, because that's sort of the point.

  The problem is everything else. Mainly the editing and music. The pacing is so insanely quick. With the original being 175 minutes and the shorter Cushing film being 80 minutes, this…
