watched this after reading the first chapter of, “capitalist realism,” by mark fisher. “it’s easier to imagine the end of the world than it is the end of capitalism.” the london in this world is so like exactly what it would be. i think end of the world is going to be more boring than we could ever believe (and has already begun but will also never begin) sorry been on a major doomerism spiral the past couple days!

honestly glad i like waited a while to watch this one. confused as to why so many people hated this when it first came out. obviously far from a perfect film but as a spectacle??? incredible. i loveeee movies about movies. bold, beautiful, amazing score. sort of wanted it to go on forever.
