My beautiful, loving 16 year old cat passed away yesterday and I feel disconnected. It's so quiet around here, I needed to hang out with pals and have a good time, so Local Legends it was. Listened to the GNV commentary. Peter Kuplowsky ponders if he'd think Evil Dead looked cheap if it was submitted to TIFF, an interesting question. Genevieve coming through and attending the show is the optimism I needed to see.

Rewatched with the After Movie Diner commentary, a great hang with Matt and Jon.
I've recommended Matt Farley to numerous friends (one actually became a fan!), but I finally recommended him (and this movie) to a group of relative strangers, meaning the members of a horror movie podcast group I belong to on Facebook.
