  there's a lot about this movie that really just floors me in impressive technical aspects.
  1. the lack of music. sound is incredibly important to the atmosphere of a movie. the lack thereof is equally as valid of a tone setter.
  2. how simple the plot of this movie really is and how incredible it is before you even get down to cool genre expectation breaking moments. the story really isn't much more unique or different from your standard westerns…

  i'm not gonna lie dude

  this has pushed my expectations on what film can be somehow. a four hour narrative that centers around 3 characters that works. so, so, so well.
  i haven't felt this way since i finished Kill Bill for the first time.

  wow.
