  I really loved this and I really love pamela anderson, what a great role for her. 

  I love the earnest celebration of craft, performance, glitz and glamour, it feels like an ode to the arts as something worth celebrating rather than something frivolous. 

  I thought there were some really nice themes here - conflict between motherhood/responsibilities to others and personal dreams, the importance of the feeling of being “seen” and visible, the sacrifices women are expected to make that men…

  I... think this might be my favourite film of the year. 

  When it started, I wasn’t sure if I was going to like it because all the 60+ year old audience members started laughing straight away at things that weren’t making me laugh so I thought the whole thing would just not hit and go completely over my head.   Walked into this film fully expecting something lacklustre (apart from Rami Malek’s performance, which I had complete faith in) based off all the reviews I had read before it, but I absolutely ADORED this and was so, so, so pleasantly surprised.
