  Overproduced, paint by numbers, fatuous waste of time. 
  Catapulting beyond post-irony, every ‘twist and turn’ and carefully choreographed scene set to ‘cheeky pop music’ had me internally screaming for a escape from this CGI hell. 

  Hearing the swell of schmaltzy, teak-jerking music at every emotional beat demanded with unceasing urgency that I feel something for these banal characters.

  But yet, rejoice! Edgelord James Gunn has returned! After seeing his career bounce back stronger than ever from a rape and pedophilia…

  Maybe my expectations were too high but I feel disappointed with with what this end product is. 

  After Jan 6, I went deep into understanding past and present fascist/conspiracy movements and this just feels like a pretty light primer on the whole situation.

  So many details were not mentioned or explored and it feels like the entire context of the Jan 6 Insurrection was barely touched upon. Jan 6 is the result of 250 years of racism, classism, misinformation, conspiracies…
