Nice! more good-hearted statesmen but this time middle-aged. apart from that one foxy elder who cracks the case of the missing eyeglasses. liked the torrential rain & sweaty brows. sort of wondered at the end who did kill the dad, though

hated this with a passion but every other dyke in the cinema (informal convention outside the ladies' toilets) disagreed with me. Storytelling was just so shoddy though?? incoherent & no stakes. As crime / thriller it didn't have the drops & reveals & backstories to court viewer investment — thought it could have worked better as a psychosexual surrealist noir about Top Energy and its relation to daddies & toxic masculinity. then maybe plot could have been dispensed with & we would just romp along? …
