Interesting to see Woody Allen metamorphosing into Timothée Chalamet. Sort of!
Starring Elle Fanning with a stellar support cast; Lief Schreiber, Jude Law, the story of two intelligent but polar opposite young lovers mixing with the upper echelon of New York is outlandish but fun. Typical Woody Allen script and direction.

This 8 part series highlighting the evil Sackler family, owners of Purdue, manufacturers and distributed of OxyContin, is an education in what big pharma can get away with. Or can they? Reportably responsible for between 100,000- 400,000 deaths from the opioid, Purdue continued to aggressively market the drug despite the misery it caused.

Saw this when it first came out. Loved it then, loved it now. Great cinematography and director George Roy Hill skill full précis what today could be a 3 hour journey into 1hour 50mins. Magnificent to see Newman and Redford seriously joking throughout the movie.

Nobody does British crime mixed with humour better than Guy Ritchie. First time I saw this movie I was a little disappointed. However, just watched it for the 4th time and it is, to my mind, a masterpiece. Hugh Grant and Charlie Hunnam’s conversations, together with Ritchie’s direction make for compelling viewing.
