  Honestly Rachel Zegler killed it. She is incredibly talented, and I think in a more faithful adaptation she would be a perfect Snow White. The first half of the movie I was loving it. Snow White and the Dwarves were great.

  The prince was a MAJOR improvement over the creepy original.

  The problems begin with the evil queen. Gal Gadot was a horrible casting choice, there wasn’t a single moment I enjoyed her on screen. Her storyline is nonsense and…

  The Last Voyage of the Demeter 2023

  They took a lot of liberties over the chapter from the book, but I loved it anyways. Probably one of my favorite interpretations of Dracula, and it was on a boat which made it so much better. 

  That said, this story has so much potential and I would have loved to see it in a style similar to The VVitch, where time accurate English is used and it is a lot less over the top.

  First thing first the music was fantastic, which you would think is a bit of a given, but the live recorded Les miserables exists which proves live recording isn’t such a great idea.

  I was very impressed by the acting. I don’t think Ariana grande has ever done a good performance before, but she really stole the show for me (at least until the very end when someone else took over)

  
  The direction and cinematography were great too. I have no real complaints there. It just felt a little long, and I also don’t think the story is amazing either.
