  Holllly shit. I’m a huge Odenkirk fan since his days on Mr Show. On the other hand, I’ve never been a huge fan of action blockbusters. This film is the best action film I’ve ever seen in my life. Paced perfectly, respects the viewer’s intelligence, and avoids a lot of the obvious tropes these movies can fall into. Absolutely incredible.

  I have a very hard time writing reviews for Lynch's work. So much of the enjoyment I find in his projects lies in the emotions they evoke, which are such unique emotions, that it's hard to find words for them.

  Lynch's screenwriting and directing is arguably at its peak here, with a seemingly innocent, adolescent "let's figure out a mystery!" turning into a depraved, fucked up, nightmarish hellscape. The relationship between MacLachlan and Rosselini's characters is so unnerving.
