  I watched this today, went to log it and saw that I had already watched it. I had not one memory of this, nothing even seemed familiar.
  Searched through my diary and it turns out I watched this on a flight when I hadn't slept for more than 24 hours, which explains part of that - but maybe this is also just not that memorable? who knows.

  Midsommar loses something on the second watch, with less shock value. But I’m still obsessed with the aesthetics (the yellow triangular building!) and I’m enjoying Dani's arc even more.

  The worst critique I have towards the new episodes (i.e. 7 - ) is that they devalue the ending of Return of the Jedi quite a bit. It reminds me of the ending of any Zelda game. Everyone's happy, having a giant party. You are explicitely shown all the characters you love - to make sure you understand that they too, are happy in this ending. It's just so wholesome.

  This was a lot of fun. A lot of video game-y fun, which is probably the reason I enjoyed it.

  The fight and parkour scenes are extremely entertaining, especially when they are well coordinated with the music. And since I watched this because I enjoyed Ilya Naishuller's Bad Motherfucker music video that is mainly what expected to get out of this movie.
