HER is an astoundingly real film, set in the nearby future in which Theodore (Joaquin Phoenix) is perpetually lonely and turns to an O.S. system for a small chance of social interaction. The film touches on the unsettling reality of man vs. technology, and the relationships that form because of man's desperation for the validity that the internet has given us.
The film reminds me a bit of online relationships: as in, those where the two have never met before.…
