  Obligatory Timothée Chalamet viewing.

  And he did well! Seeing the 2.5 stars makes it seem like I didn’t like it as much as I did. Closer to 3 stars than 2 stars for sure. It just couldn’t seem to escape those sweet musical biopic tropes. Some parts I wish I cared more about the stakes of the film it kept implying were so pressing and urgent. I guess I never realised how important folk music was throughout history? Who knows.

  You killed it tho Timmy. Keep rising.

  Also fun fact: apparently if you get leukemia, you get violently launched backwards into the air and fall on the ground. 

  Epic movie, super cool and awesome movie. 100% would recommend.

  Hella cheesy sometimes but the cine was immaculate and I loved the sound design.

  Basically what you’d get if you told David Fincher to direct a Batman crime mystery film, but not make the characters as complex and engaging as Se7en.

  Now I wanna watch Se7en.
