  Finally watched this and I had a pretty good time. I enjoyed the concept a lot even if the film was somewhat inconsistent in its depiction of it. Some things are explored in a lot of detail and other things are given no explanation, like how the hell did they conceive this child!?! I can only assume it was a deliberate decision because I doubt they had a spontaneous silent session of lovemaking. So why did they do this!?! What…

  Damn this film gets me every time. 12 men arguing in a single room for an hour and a half, and it's one of the most engaging films I've ever seen. People love to complain about media today being too political but this film came out in 1957 and it is more politically charged than half the stuff we get now. A scathing critique of the judicial system and the systemic racism and classism that runs rampant throughout.

  Honestly, one of my favourite films.
