Funny, surprising, sweet, full of action that doesn't slow the plot down ( a rarity) , self aware with no winking cuteness about it, satisfyingly violent, and all without guns doing the killing. Anyone can love this. I watched it with a girlfriend, and her husband in the other room thought there was something wrong, we were making so many noises of enjoyment. Made with style, but for the people, it's everything it wants to be and tries to be nothing else.

This film made me laugh and laugh, one of those where you are the only one in the theatre laughing - I simply love that. But absurdity and surprise combined with pathos is what made this film a rich experience for me. Olivia Colman gave one of the most stirring performances I can remember.
