  I'd be honest, when I first saw the poster and the teaser playing on Netflix, I thought it was like The Menu. Well, at some part, yes. It feels like too many films but in a comfortable, familiar way that you almost forgive it. It's like when Aoy cooked the noodles for that ridiculous party near the end. There are truths in this film that there are times you pretend that aren't. But, there's no comfort living like that, too.

  Anyway, better than The Menu. Sappier than Parasite.

  There are movies that are short but feels too long that you want to end like there are movies that are long but feels too short that you still want it to keep going on. I think I am somehow getting the intent behind the ending though it fell short. I haven't seen the original but I have a feeling that they remove a number of scenes for this remake that it loses direction, the essence. Things that made this remake even possible in the first place.
