Rabid for me was a very well thought out slow burning remake to the great Cronenberg's work.

The Soska Sisters put a lot of love in the story as well as effects when the kills start rolling are beautiful.(As well as their lovely cameo)

If you like people going crazy & killing folks for food I'd recommend this remake to your movie night sometime.

"I've got a train to catch."

This movie resonated with me, and my love of the genre from the first time I saw it. An amazing premise, coupled with brilliant screenplay material.

The characters were absolutely brilliant with a special appreciation for the duel leading characters Bradley Cooper as the headstrong & investigative protagonist, and the juggernaut himself Vinnie Jones playing the cold, calm, and calculating antagonist with the kind of stare power alone to make you just want to run.…

For fans of classics like Wishmaster this movie will be enjoyable to you.

Self centered, and self serving son returns home to find an object of the Djinn that with without being consciously aware could even grant his wish, and like Wishmaster an ultimate cautionary tale to be careful what you wish for.

Very good acting, and further proof that Lin Shaye just needs to receive her crown as the Horror Queen with how diverse her range of character, and emotion can get.

If you want an amazing slasher that can trigger moments of nostalgia to your old beloved slasher flicks? This could be it. A creative story driven by Omar Epps in the lead, and Jame Kennedy in the back seat(Nevertheless though brilliant)!

They did solid work with these shots because it looks like these actors brutally throwing down good.

All the wonderful kills that basically pay homage to old slashers like Ghost Face & Myers with a knife that says trick or treat on either side is an excellent touch.

I really want a follow up to this movie.
