„Behutsam“ is the word that comes to my mind first after watching this movie. Loved listening to the conversations between Theodore and Samantha, great sound design which makes eavesdropping feel very intimate. In the last part of the movie, however, I had the feeling the story fell apart a little bit? Maybe the questions opened up were a bit too big after the depiction of this very specific relationship. Or is it the ‘uncanny valley’ in which the love story develops the element that creeps me out so much?

Isle of Dogs 2018
Missed this back when it was released and now feel bad that I haven’t watched it earlier! Very original, very quirky – generally very Wes Anderson – and very animated. Loved trying to recognise all the voice actors and had a real fun time in the cinema!
