Ayo Edebiri doesn't play a chef in this movie, but she definitely cooks. Going into this one blind made it more palatable that it probably would've been if I had seen any trailers. For the most part, the movie gives off a Midsommar-esque vibe, but gets to the point pretty quickly (or at least it was just painfully obvious earlier on). There's no crazy twist or anything you're not expecting, just a few "wtf is that" moments.
The ending didn't…
It's not James Bond levels of serious but also not Austin Powers levels of ridiculous. It lands somewhere in the middle but not quite in a sweet spot that balances the two. The movie definitely drags on for a bit in the beginning and doesn't stop dragging until Michael Fassbender finally shows some miniscule amount of actual emotion. From that point on, it really pays off.
There was a lot of abrasive acting throughout the movie that felt pretty far…
This was more entertaining than I expected it to be. The twist was pretty twisty but then really obvious in hindsight. It was also a little more gory (there’s probably a better word to be used) than I thought it’d be. Overall, once it starts, it just keeps going. It’s takes pretty much no breaks and solid mix of comedy and action.

We'll give them a bunch of close-up shots and then hit them with some wild angle shots, then…
