Good, grotesque. I was surprised by some of the cut lines in this straightforward adaptation of an already fragmented text, but I think it worked. Some motifs are reduced to single lines, but the result is more focused on the drama of Woyzeck being neither agent nor object.
Interesting soundtrack. Everything diegetic is painful to listen to but does more for the film than the rest of the music, which I don’t think really fits. Although the grating, half-assedly happy dance music with Kinski’s eyes bulging out of his skull—wow.

Just really good. Liked this more than the earlier Bergman films I’ve seen. I also think this is the first movie I’ve watched in over 3 months, so maybe I enjoyed it more for that reason.
