yes it’s cultish. yes it’s been done before. yes ayo edebri is the lead role. this film is very relevant to the now in influencer culture. i think they were trying to discuss cult like religions yeah but also the paradox of fame and its exponentiality after a certain threshold. when you are famous enough you can do anything when controversy is good publicity now. idk it feels like more than just ‘cult’.
