An hour before the first kill, which happens off screen. This is a diabolical example of a slow burn horror movie it was pretty much Christmas time by the time we got to some mediocre action. Poor score, poor acting, no plot whatsoever. The ending and reveal was laughable.

Reminiscent of ‘The Ring’ and ‘It Follows’. SMILE subliminally taps into the victims of mental health with the underline lack of support in present culture, especially within our families and close circles.

Sosie Bacon aka (Saucy Bacon) delivers a powerful performance filled with despair, betrayal and childhood neglect but fights back with a promise to herself to avoid repetition.

A beautiful anthology of horror stories combined exploring folklore and Halloween traditions. Trick r Treat is paced perfectly by placing these colourful characters and stories within real time/ location concluding with an outcome that links to one fateful Halloween night.

A horror icon himself Sam is beautifully designed representing historical notes of Halloween during the 1920/ 30’s era, although charming, his looks can be deceiving 🎃

When your fixated on how this movie is going to go, POW! You’ve just been proved wrong. In general creepy naked old people is scary enough on it’s own.

Note*** when Justin Long is in a horror movie you know it’s not going to end well for him.
