First time watch. I don't know why I thought this was a John Huges film, too (Brat Pack, I guess), but it's a Joel Schumacher film. It was a fine, somewhat funny look at a group of yuppies in 1985, and their sordid affairs.
Andrew McCarthy still sucks.
I'm not a sports guy at all, but ironically, I've always loved sports movies. Even the absolute dullest of sports, like golf, can be made into fun movies (Happy Gilmore) or a decent romantic film (Tin Cup).
