  Fast paced, graphic cheese from Roger Corman’s New World Pictures. Weird, slightly goofy creatures designed by Rob Bottin attack a run down coastal town. Stars monster movie stalwart Doug McClure, obviously.

  I was struck this time how humane the film is. All the women victims of the Ripper are named and their fate mourned, at the hands of a political conspiracy.
