I appreciate the nostalgia and longing in this movie for a good time at the ball park with a hot dog and a beer. Unfortunately, the actors weren’t great at playing baseball or at acting, nor did the script really capture the sport as well as it hoped. Grateful that this type of movie is being made, but it just didn’t land for me.
