  Really subtle and morally complex, to the point where a Sedevacantist or a progressive/feminist Catholic could project whatever they want onto the movie and confirmation bias their way into whatever moral messaging they want to take from the movie—not sure if that’s a success or a failing given the constant stress on decision making free of ego in service of collective morality and function. In reality I don’t think the movie takes a conservative or progressive stance, instead posing questions…

  ✈️ ✈️ ✈️ Never seen a movie try so hard to be abject & perverted and fail so completely.. can’t quite put my finger on why …. Aesthetically giving Netflix and Sidenote I always hate when they make something a period piece and then that decision feels completely inconsequential also couldve trimmed a half an act on each end
