Promising Young Woman 2020
The first time I watched this movie I didn’t finish it because it felt like they turned eat pray love into a true crime doc. But that’s because I didn’t get to the plot twist. Well now I’ve learned my fucking lesson. God damn I cried. Right now the ending feels like poetic justice and that’s all I need. The cinematography, soundtrack, Carey mulligan, THE CASTING. Ate down. We can worry about the writing, characters, the ending, on a different date.
