  ok this is gonna be long. this is an adaptation of a book i love, and i have a lot of feelings. “aristotle and dante discover the secrets of the universe” doesn’t reinvent the wheel for YA cinema, and there are definitely parts that could’ve been improved, but there were also parts that i loved.

  visually, it’s incredible. the cinematography is absolutely beautiful. i was stunned by some shots.

  baby’s first eggers!

  so atmospheric and eerie. the cinematography and lighting are soo beautiful. lily rose depp is INCREDIBLE. nicholas hoult and willem dafoe were also stand outs for me. and it goes without saying that bill skarsgard is unrecognizable it’s insane !!!
