It hurts. You bust your ass just for the reward of making it through the day and the chance to run it all back the next. Maybe that's when the better life you've imagined can start. But for now you have to force yourself to put on the fakest smile just for an extra dollar.
A film so raw, authentic, and deeply empathetic. Realist films matter so much. These stories need to be put to screen. Long live Independent film.

I could see a world where this was a genuinely good over the top social satire. But in the world we live it's just bad. A musical with no good songs. A story that begs to be revered and taken seriously while paying no respect to what it depicts.
