  Tangled’s Rapunzel is one of the greatest Disney Princesses. A capable and interesting take on Rapunzel, this film offers a deeply relatable and entertaining protagonist. 

  Animal Companion 🐴
  Pascal is a perfect animal companion for Rapunzel, who supports her in any way possible. Maximus is likely the greatest Disney horse ever, and is an incredible foil to Flynn Rider.

  Soundtrack 🎶

  A thinly veiled perverted kink filled film that wastes its potential on instead misinterpreting what female empowerment is.

  Poor Things had a fantastic premise that was undercut by male writers not understanding what female desire is. The film pushes the boundary of what is surrealist and absurdist to just plain strange and uncomfortable. The film almost glorifies sexual assault and emotional abuse through Duncan and Bella’s relationship once again labels it as the empowerment and strength of women.

  A Real Pain is a beautiful and genuine expression of grief, love and impact. The ideas explored within the film of history and burden are especially poignant in a modern era of turmoil and loss, where one’s suffering is weighed against another. It’s an amazing film, only slightly held down by its slightly disjointed plot, and at some not fully executed interactions or ideas. Fabulous movie about complex relationships and the immigrant story.
