A unique idea, but an often over-the-top gory and gross execution. Compelling and frankly really depressing story overall but wtf what was that last part. This is a movie that will make you want to take a long hot shower afterwards.

Love this film to bits. The whole Mongibello segment in the first hour is just perfection. Can’t hate on it at all.

The cinematography is the real deal here. story is nice but the lighting and camera work really brings out the insane trippiness of this film. Some scenes just beg to be rewatched multiple times, especially the bridge scene with roach, the smell of napalm in the morning, and of course the iconic brando moments.
They did a Good Ass Job with this film.

This movie is the epitome of all style no substance. I don't think Tarantino really had any sort of plotline or character arcs or any of that in mind when he was writing this shit. just sat down and wrote whatever cool or stylish shit came to his head and mashed them up together (and also adding some absolutely outrageous scenes especially that one iykyk). I do enjoy the novelty of this but as a whole it feels kinda unreal and weird, idk it just doesn't completely click for me.
in conclusion, go watch reservoir dogs.
