  C’est parfait, incroyable. J’adore. Fontaine, vous etes un génie et une inspiration.

  Slow, but utterly gripping, edge-of-your seat stuff from start to finish. I didn’t dare breathe for most of it. The title does nothing whatsoever to lessen the suspense. Bravery, fortitude, resourcefulness all on display; near the end, Jana said, “Just shoot me. I’m not doing all that. I’m so scared. It’s just a movie and I’m so scared.” Expert filmmaking — the camera movements and especially the sound design enhance the matter-of-fact storytelling.

  Jost, you are one fortunate fellow. The day you were thrown in that cell was probably the luckiest of your life.

  Could talk about this for hours. Only my second ever viewing and it’s entering the tier of my all-time faves.

  It can be experienced as just a fun comedy but it’s so much more if you want it to be. Creates a fascinating universe that forces you to ask questions (what are the rules?), and yet there’s no disappointment when not all the questions are answered.

  Oh, and it gets incredibly dark. I mean, he probably tries killing himself in…
