My small rectory abuts her estate ☝️🎩

Ok but imagine the sheer desperation that women would have had at this time. Even well off women like the Bennets. Like The Bachelor but the stakes are your entire life. Blindly trying to secure the smallest chance of happiness and comfort, and making that decision based off a few moments with a man. How could you even enjoy a ball knowing if you don’t catch the eye of an amiable gentleman that…

Very captivating. Very new. Many shining moments.

    What am I, Jesus?
    …Yeah.

Ugh! Brutal contrast between the cheating whirlwind and then coming home to Art in their kids bed. She a little bit evil. Mouse boy didn’t deserve all that.

Do you prefer rat man or mouse boy? I prefer rat. Better actor. Mouse boy has a GREAT face but his voice squeaks with a showboat-y, John Mulany-y affectation.

On editing ~ one too many time jumps imo. The people get confused. But some very very creative stuff I think.

The final battle culminates in a hug ?

Aggressive clapping. Everyone laughing too loudly. Endless, stressful music. Painful, neverending toasts. I hated so much about this movie. I really really didn’t want to finish it but it was the only thing I had downloaded on my iPad.

It tried hard to be unconventional with its 15 minute drum circle/eccentric dance party scene that adds nothing to the story. NO THANK YOU. Why were all the bridesmaids wearing sarees? Were any of the characters Indian? Pretty sure they weren’t. Too many white people…

    Is this the god Father?

Was a good time. Good for cinema probably. I went to the theater twice with people I've never watched a movie with before. A miracle really.

But not going to lie it irked me. The buzzwords were flying. Yeah I technically agreeee with you Greta but don’t make me listen to a monologue brought to you by the Dove Real Beauty campaign circa 2004. Let’s get a little artful with it. Less talking, more feeling.…
