    the cacophonous soundtrack reminded me of christian ghazi’s hundred faces for a single day, only with women making all the noise: assembling rifles, wailing lament, encrypting guerrilla maneuvers as wedding songs. and like ghazi’s film, her critique whirls inwards—srour condemns both the wolves and the callous shepherd (father, husband). “serve the revolution? who would serve him, then?”
