Mulholland Drive 2001
I liked Blue Velvet, but Mulholland Drive feels like Lynch at his best. It’s surreal, unsettling, and so compelling that I couldn’t stop thinking about it for days. Naomi Watts gives an incredible performance. The soundtrack is awesome and curiously magnanimous. But the absolute best thing about this film is the narrative: simple at its core, but confusing and mysterious.
