A mess with some funny bits. The “wedding” and the ending were bad. CGI was bad at times, especially considering it’s Tim Burton.
Didnt hate it. Enjoy all the actors even though some of the performances were mailed in. Loved what they did with Winona’s father lol.

The Dictator 2012
Some very funny moments completely outweighed by very dumb, almost painful scenes and gags. I didn’t like it that much when it first came out. I thought it was by far his weakest movie. And I cant help but watch it in an even more negative light considering Baron Cohen’s views on the atrocities in Gaza and the West Bank.
The music is hilarious. John C Reilly’s scene was funny.

If this was 90 minutes of Tom Hanks messing around with the dog it would get 10 out of 5 stars. Unfortunately there’s a horribly paced murder mystery and love story that takes away from what should be the sole focus: a good boy playing with a great man.

This is so much better than 2 and 3, and it might be a better movie overall than the original (the original gets the edge because it’s the original, there’s a higher nostalgia factor, and although it’s not a good movie, it’s very enjoyable and lays the groundwork for this).
