  Cinematic sorcery! And to think that I went in thinking this would be PTA's most conventional film. Not at all. Just as heady and mesmerizing as anything in his catalogue. Daniel Day-Lewis is just unfair, able to say more in one sidelong glance than a thousand overwrought monologues combined.

  Like the acrid taste of freshly squeezed milk from the quaternary teats of a beached alien plesiosaur, this entry might not go down easy for some. Working against the constraints and demands of the fully operational Disney Death Star, the plot feels a touch overstuffed but overall I feel Rian Johnson does an admirable job putting his stamp on the proceedings and successfully moves the franchise forward.
