    I have heard many people talk about this film's 'timely discussion of complex themes' but, for me, rather than interrogate or engage with the incredibly difficult issue of the bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki, the film gives a very surface-level discussion that ultimately simply reinforces the mainstream American line that these attacks were necessary evils.

    I saw this in a packed cinema on opening night in Seoul and it was a great experience.

    The film delivers fully on a pure entertainment level by seamlessly blending multiple genre elements to create something that is part buddy cop caper, part guys-on-a-mission movie, part occult horror flick, and part detective procedural.
