  - Make me laugh
  - Star Cate Blanchett
  - Cost less than $50 million
  - Not treat me like an idiot
  - Employ a bunch of artists
  - Run for a crisp 93 minutes
  - Use a font so egregiously unreadable that it made me miss James Cameron and papyrus

  *I’ve never seen these movies before. I have no idea what people rate in these movies. Maybe this line is the biggest meme of the last 40 years, idk.

  Attention all Twilight lovers! Public Service Announcement!

  I’m so sorry for not getting it. I never engaged with Twilight and maybe that’s on me. I dunno it seems like fun. However. Rose Glass has just smuggled Love Lies Bleeding through the Hollywood machine and it’s your favourite werewolf fantasy starring Kristen Stewart. But this time it’s gay and a Neo-Noir and genuinely subversive.
