  To start, these live action adaptations of classic Disney properties seem to be a bit of a conundrum for me. On one hand, they don’t always seem to be excellent or the most innovative. On the other, when you have investment in them already, you’re already attached to the characters and can get into the story and feel more emotional connections before anything happens.
