At this point I thought I'm jaded with this same old formulaic story beats for a reason, but this one hour work of art has the gall to draw and color me surprised. 🥲

Serenity 2005
Whoa, never thought Joss Whedon is capable to form such a vast and enjoyable universe with its western sci-fi combination. I'm not really a fan of his "superhero" works, but Firefly and Serenity are definitely far better and a satisfying journey from start to finish.
