  All We Imagine as Light 2024

  Some scenes overall don’t land, but underneath it all, the emotional intent is there and an artist is present. 

  This reminded me of my favorite movies of living in the city and trying to live your life. 

  There’s a certain emotion to this that I love. I really liked this one and curious to know what else Kapadia will do.

  Hard Truths 2024

  I actually met MJB in LA this past week. (She was really nice!)

  I’ve never heard her speak before in interviews or anything….and wow is the contrast between character and person completely different. All that to say, MJB transformed into someone else and gave an excellent performance. 

  The rest of the cast was also great! 

  The scenes in her sister’s apartment, after visiting their mom’s grave, were the best parts of the movie.

  Overall, this movie could have been pushed more though.

  I think Lemohang Jeremiah Moses is an artist. While the doc is a bit dreary at times, there’s something there.

  Idek what to say lol.

  Well crafted movie - Greta was DIRECTING. The production design and costumes were 🤌🏻 

  Script losing me a bit. Perhaps too on the nose and needed to be fleshed out but overall it was funny and good. 

  Nothing crazy about it but gladly not underwhelming. I had fun!
