Witches 2024
Despite devoting my university degree to gender studies, I am always amazed and surprised at the way women have been treated in history. And especially the legacy of this history on modern day ideas about womanhood and motherhood.

idc what anybody says, it was hot and I liked it
On a more serious note: the soundtrack was amazing, loved some of the shots, the rhythm in the movie was great, the humor even better and the tension build up just sublime. I didn’t expect much from this film - thought it would just be a nice break to watch a new kind of mainstream zendaya movie - but was so pleasantly surprised.

A political discussion done entirely through quotes in a room covered in puke is definitely an interesting mise-en-scene, a highlight for me !
