  Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace 1999

  Kenna watches Star Wars part three. Oh yes, we are jumping around the timeline. The acting performances are stunted yes - but not from everyone. It was fun trying to map everyone's accents to where we thought they would be from in the real world. Still couldn't tell which Amygdala was Knightley or Portman and perhaps never will. Kenna still seems to be enjoying herself after three of these movies, which is the real shocker.

  Kenna watches Star Wars part two. Kenna was invested in the fate of C3PO and laughed at Yoda's witticisms. It was clear she doesn't care too much for the action, but still admired the technical feats achieved for their time. She thought it was lame that Luke got a new hand right away - which yeah, what's with that.

  An animated animal movie with no annoying dialogue spoken is a breath of fresh air in itself, but the allegorical nature of this film spoke to me on a deeper level than anything in animation has recently.
