Of all the movies I've seen, I think this is the most difficult to rate. I want to give it 5 stars for it's beauty, performances and complexity. But then there are spiritual elements that I disagree with, so I think that maybe I shouldn't rate this highly. In the end, I've given it 4 stars. I'm not entirely sure why, but I want to simultaneously rate it both higher and lower, so any rating I give is going to…

This is something really really special. From a film perspective, just insane how they could even possibly make this. 4 episodes, each an hour long, each genuinely one single take. Can't even fathom how that can be done this well. And hits really hard with such deep, relevant, and terrifying themes that are so prevalent in society right now. Hard to watch, but really worth it.

Also, Erling Haaland mention! That was my favourite part :)

A bunch of dads talking shit. That's the movie. It's great.

Amazing, this ticks all the boxes for what makes a brilliant movie!

    - laughably bad acting ✔️
    - awful soundtrack ✔️
    - the most one dimensional characters you'll ever see ✔️
    - terrible dialogue ✔️
    - zero character development ✔️

And what a message to top it all off: if you have a disability, you could just die. That's fine.

How on earth do people enjoy this...

What a headspin. Not sure what conclusions to make of this really. I understood the storyline and the ending, but still unsure what to think about it. So it's hard to say that I loved this, but I really enjoyed the experience of watching it, and can appreciate how exceptional the non-linear storytelling us.

But my biggest takeaway from this film is that the villain from the live-action Garfield movie is in this, that face is gonna haunt me for weeks now 😭😭😭
