I am so relieved that Asian-Americans are finally able to be represented in Hollywood. Although I don't think the film did so perfectly (the film tried a little too hard at times), it was light years better than what Hollywood did with Dragon Ball Evolution and Avatar the Last Airbender. The action sequences were absolutely insane, the cinematography gave me goosebumps, and that bus scene.... wow. However, I thought the acting was a little cringeworthy at times and the storyline…
I was locked in from the beginning; however, I also feel absolutely disgusting after watching it. Seriously, how does someone come up with that storyline??? The best part about this movie was that it was completely unpredictable. The acting was incredible, and the score was impeccable. Choi Min-suk has quickly become one of my favorite actors after this and I Saw the Devil.
