All We Imagine as Light 2024
God knows how I missed reviewing this fml so loved how Mumbai (not Bombay) was the main character in the first half, so poignant, so gumsum like heart full of heartythings. But but somehow the second half stretched the narrative like a chewing gum albeit the much-needed Malabar coastline visuals aaaaahhhh and how beautifully it ends yaar like the music was still ringing in my ears 45 mins out of the theatre now that is a hell of an experience! Lest to say, love when women get to tell stories about womanhood<3

Idk what sensory appeal there was to this piece of cinema apart from the red blood transfusing and misicing with the deep blue of the ocean. Now that graphics I can watch on a loop for 3 hours straight than go through this sluggish, extremely testing and unremarkable of a narrative!
