  We don’t need any more live action remakes or sequels, we need original content. This just shows the avoidance of effort and originality among Disney and other film corporations.

  The Swan 2023

  The Swan is a narrative delight, it uses great storytelling and dialogue for a very interesting plot. I really enjoyed the way the characters speak both to us (the audience) and to other characters so seamlessly that it doesn’t feel unnatural in any scenes. 

  All in all, as most of Wes Anderson films, it was very enjoyable and also somewhat deep. I found myself looking into certain allegories and metaphors presented more than I normally would, to find the greater meaning.

  Unbearable singing. Transphobic and Mexican stereotypes disguised as “representation” despite never consulting or even considering the communities being affected. These communities weren’t  even mentioned in the acceptance speech. The whole movie feels like an awful attempt at being progressive, despite knowing absolutely nothing of the minorities being portrayed.

  I am of the belief Get Out is the best Jordan Peele horror movie. I love Us, and Nope just like most people, but Get Out is just a narrative treasure with such a unique plot—being that of a commentary on the history and nature of racism in American society. 

  Along with the absolute talent of Daniel Kaluuya, this movie is just a complete masterpiece. I love how the mystery is slowly unraveled, until the climactic point where Chris realizes…
